Star Wars 9 Rise of Skywalker leak? Luke Skywalker Force ghost mentions Darth Vader | Films | Entertainment

He may have died in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, but Luke Skywalker is now one with the Force and returning as a Force ghost for The Rise of Skywalker.

What sort of advice will Mark Hamill’s Jedi give Daisy Ridley’s troubled heroine?

Well now Making Star Wars claims to have shared a leaked scene of the pair with a discussion involving Darth Vader and Emperor Palpatine.

Below is the apparent scene, so watch out for potential spoilers.

The scene sees Rey having tossed the Skywalker blue lightsaber into the wreckage of Kylo Ren’s ship which she abandons.

Luke’s Force ghost catches it.

He says: “What are you doing?”

Rey replies: “You were right, you saw the darkness in me.”

Luke advises: “The Force brought us together.

“You need to face Sidious as I faced Vader.”

In the continuing description, Rey admits: “I wanted to feel as if I was as strong as Master Leia, but I’m not.”

But Luke consoles her, saying: “You don’t know how strong you are until you know how strong you have to be.

“Sidious will fill you with fear, with anger, and he’ll use your weaknesses against you.”

Rey asks: “What are his?”

Before Luke reveals: “Sidious looked into Vader’s eyes when my father saved me. He couldn’t understand my father’s feelings for me. He thought love was a weakness to be used.”

Meanwhile, another alleged leak supposedly reveals Palpatine’s evil plan for Rey.

According to the same source, Palpatine features early on in The Rise of Skywalker.

Apparently, he tells Kylo Ren he wants him and Rey to be the Emperor and Empress of his new evil Empire.

The pair represent the positive and negative aspects of the Force and together should be powerful enough to restore Palpatine back to his fully resurrected strength.

Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker will be released in UK cinemas on December 19, 2019.
