Brexit news: Voter lashes out at ‘terrorist loving’ Corbyn in rant at cold caller | UK | News

Footage has emerged of an outraged voter rampaging about the British people’s vote “getting ignored by Parliament” before demanding a Labour canvasser “get off” his driveway. A video shows the man opening his door to the Labour canvasser and laughing, before unleashing a fiery rant. He says: “Labour Party, you’re having a laugh.

The voter interrupts: “I’ll tell you exactly what I think.

“When the vote of the British people gets ignored in Parliament, by that terrorist loving scumbag Corbyn.

“Now get off my drive and don’t ever come knock on my door again.”

The heated comments come as Prime Minister Boris Johnson insists the political turmoil in Westminster does not put him off delivering Brexit by October 31.

Mr Corbyn told Sky News: “Labour will do everything to prevent a no deal exit from the European Union. That is is our first priority.

“After that we want a general election so the people can decide their future, do they want a Government that invests and ends austerity? A Government that deals with the grotesque levels of poverty and inequality in Britain, and they will get the chance for a public vote under a Labour Government between Remain and a credible option which we will negotiate with the European Union.”

But when asked on the views Mr Watson expressed on Wednesday that the party should campaign for Remain, Mr Corbyn said: “It’s Tom’s view: I don’t accept it and I don’t agree with it.” Labour MP Owen Smith backed Mr Watson’s Remain stance, saying his party “should be clear it doesn’t believe Brexit is a good thing”.

On Wednesday morning, Mr Watson said Labour should prioritise reversing Brexit through another referendum, over winning power in a general election.

Speaking at the Creating Industries Federation in London, Mr Watson described it as “the only way” to break the deadlock “once and for all”.
